Hope and Healing Policies and Fees

Office Policies & Fees

Individual therapy and couples counseling. The fee is $120.00 for a 60-minute session. I request that you pay me, by check or cash, at the end of each session. Some clients prefer making payment for a series of sessions to reduce the number of checks written. Family therapy is frequently most efficient with a co-therapist. The charge for co-therapy is $200.

Group therapy. For group therapy, I charge a fee of $40.00 per group member for a 90-minute group session.

Telephone counseling. Telephone sessions are billed at the same rate as individual therapy.

Cancellations can be made by phone (206) 829-2422 or email (carolann@hopeandhealingtherapy.com) any day at any time. Cancellations received less than 48 hours in advance and missed appointments will be charged at the full fee.

Confidentiality is assured, with three exceptions. The law requires that if I suspect abuse has been done to a child or an elderly person, I am required to report it to authorities. If I believe you are a danger to yourself or to someone else, I will take steps to protect your safety and/or the safety of others. Also, if you work through an insurance provider, your contract likely allows your carrier to receive copies of any and all of your confidential records. See FAQ for more information.
